Eugene “Gene” Rudolph, 104, started his long career in the industry working with his dad at the Hippodrome Theatre in NYC. He was involved with the early transition of black and white tv to color tv and many liveproductions while working for NBC and CBS. In 1959 he started his own company, Lite-Trol Service Co, Inc. He joined IATSE Local One in 1949 and was honored last spring for 75 years of service; the longest serving member. Gene’s son Rick and his grandsons Jason and Andrew followed him into the industry he loved becoming the third and fourth generations in the entertainment industry.
